Ability to displayed leased aircraft in flightplan and therefore on VATSIM

Hi, Would it be possible to add the ICAO of the operator/airline you are flying??

At the moment VATSIM takes the aircraft type and callsign to display the aircraft to other people’s systems.

This works for flying a British Airways Airbus A320, BAW A320

However, if I want to fly a Titan A320 on a royal flight I would want my callsign to be KRH and the Aircraft an A320. But this won’t display the Titan A320. as VATSIM would only show that if I put in a ZAP call sign.
This goes for airline leases etc too.

What would be good is a callsign box which we have and an Operator box so vatsim can display the right aircraft.

The best way I think to do this would be to ask Simbrief to add another box on the flight plan creation window that allows users to put in an ICAO code to display the aircraft.
So for my Royal Flight, I would put in,
Callsign - KRH1EL
ICAO Operator - ZAP
ICAO Type - A320

Vatsim could then be programmed to take the ICAO operator and Type for model-matching purposes.

Please talk to VATSIM about doing this,
This would help with leased aircraft etc. For example British Airways are leasing DAT A320s.
My I dear would allow someone to fly the DAT A320 on a BAW flight:- i.e

Callsign = BAW123A
Type = A320
Op ICAO = DAT

Vatsim could have it default to how it works now unless the OP ICAO has a code in it.
