Navigraph did you use the Red Phone to talk to Microsoft? These kind of things really upset the flight sim community when all of sudden crashes…
We don´t have any red phone to MSFS - we are also normal user/customer as you. There is sadly no cooperation between MS/ASOBO and us, sadly but that´s not what we have in our hand.
We were just as surprised as you were.
Cheers,
Richard
Navigraph asking their subscribers to contact MS. Its a navigraph problem to solve as we are paying for the service you would think they would get on to microsoft. Navigraph hand washing exercise.
The AAU3 is a Avionics system upgrade for the A310, A320-nro, and at least 1 other, it’s likely Asobo modified the Navigation data structure to support the upgrade that they didn’t notify Navigraph about, so either they need to fix this themselves, or notify Navigraph what they changed so they can update the structures they install. We are just have to wait for an update either to MSFS or Navigraph to modify their structures.
Microsoft/Asobo won´t do anything. Expect an answer back in november when they released the MSFS 2024.
These pushed updates breaking things have been going on for over 4 years …
I have compared the schema-file (this is the structure from what you´re speaking for) which we have used for 2409/10 (0.23.1) with the current one (0.24.3) - and both schema files are 100% identically - so there is no change between the previous version and the current MSFS version, at least from the SDK point of view.
We don´t have more details about the internal changes … and that makes the debugging so hard and time-consuming. It´s also for us a try-and-error process …
Cheers,
Richard
Asobo has updated the A310 in the content manager after updating it and reinstalling the Airdac the problem seems solved, FS2020 loads as normal now!
Hi Peter and welcome to the forum. It’s unfortunate that your first post had to be under these circumstances.
We are referring users to Microsoft/Asobo and their support forum in this case because it is a recent simulator update which is causing the navigation data issue we are experiencing at the moment.
I am not sure I understand your reference to “hand washing exercise” . The team and I are dedicated to contributing to a solution and will of course take responsibility where we can.
Best regards
Magnus

Hi
Tried this and it didn’t work for me!
They did! Update the A310 in the Content Manager then reinstall the Navigraph Airdac, problem solved!
Sorry, can´t also not confirm this - my A310-300 has version 1.1.28 … and was up2date.
Cheers,
Richard
Thank you but the posts were asking users to address the problem. It might had been far better for the post from navigraph to say we are working on this. Hold tough guys and we will get it sorted.
I spent two hours this evening trying to get the sim to work and only by chance did I come across a user finding the issue.
Obviously there are volumes of people still having CTD and not knowing why.
Washing their hands as in the meaning, not even bothering to email users of the problem to help them, rather than leave them trying to solve this.
No luck here either, even after uninstalling the A310…
Now that’s weird I did see a post in the MSFS forum that they pushed an update to users who was in the SU15 Beta which I was, so maybe that’s it, all I can say is MSFS loads for me fine with the Navigraph Data installed through the Navigraph Hub Utility. Edit I think that may be it, Just looked at the release info foe the A310 and it has the same version you state 1.1.28 but says it was released in June, which can’t be this version since the update was posted today.
They have mentioned (as you can see here, here that they are looking into it/ acknowledged it, they mentioned here that Richard had tried to fix it here its not a Navigraph problem as they had no warning.
There is an update from MS here : link
They also stated that they have no direct link with MS so they are in the same boat with trying to solve it as us.
This is not trying to harass you in any way just keeping you informed just to make sure you know everything
In the meanwhile, we are paying our subscription…
Thank you. I don’t feel harassed at all. An email was the obvious answer.
Not sure what 2024 has planned if there is no partnership between NG and MS. They will see potential revenue in integrating a similar system but hopefully we will stay loyal to NG if they do.
Through the Navigraph Hub utility,
Thanks asobo - again
Just uninstall Navigraph completely and restart computer then start sim. It works fine. I just flew a flight.
