From Aerosoft One Library\Add-ons\msfs2024Steam-0395-AS15236\gameDirectory~Community\aerosoft-crj\Data\NavData:
It shows Cycle 2508:
{"cycle":"2508","revision":"1","name":"Aerosoft CRJ Professional"}
And ZBAA is in the Airports data:
A,ZBAA,CAPITAL,40.073333,116.598333,116,9850,11800,12400,0
<snip> runways and approaches below this line
But the FMS isn’t picking it up.
The FMS database is showing the correct dates for Cycle 2508 as well.
For FMS in Aerosoft CRJ-700 (2.1.10), MSFS 2024 I show the same NOT IN DATABASE , but ok for MSFS 2020.
We shall investigate.
Cheers
Ian
Thank you, Ian.
I further tested this by uninstalling all Navigraph Data and Apps, and uninstalled the CRJ Aerosoft package. (I’m not running any other packages… I’m pretty basic!)
After reinstalling the Navigraph Hub and CRJ Aerosoft, with the default CRJ navdata, it shows up. (AIRAC cycle 2309)
Once I updated the navadata (and only the Navdata), it doesn’t. (AIRAC 2508)
Thanks for anything you can dig up!
Hi,
Please report this to Aerosoft. We have still informed Aerosoft and requested a fix.
Since SU2, ASOBO/MS has changed the data path logic slightly. Since SU2, the MSFS expects the navdata in the work folder so that the data can be updated successfully.
Store version: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2020\<directory>
Steam version: %appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2020\<directory>
That’s not the case in the CRJ, and when this is not the case, newer AIRAC files will be cut due to the wrong file size (file size comes from the default cycle 2309—therefore, this cycle works). Nearly all addons have made such fixes, but it seems Aerosoft has not.
Here is a similar posting with the MaddogX, to the same issue:
I’m sorry, but we can´t do more in this case. As soon as the CRJ has made the update, it should be selectable because, as you have figured out, the airport is included in the data.
Cheers,
Richard
