YBNA RNP X Rwy 24 AR

I’m having issues flying this approach. At the last waypoint, NA470, the Fenix A320 is right on track in Final APP mode with bricks exactly where they are supposed to be. As soon as the aircraft passes NA470 the vertical brick (green rectangle) lifts high up on the display & the aircraft overflys the runway looking to re-establish on the approach.

I have flown several RNP AR approaches which work properly however YBNA RNP X Rwy 24 AR and YWLM RNP X rwy 30 AR both have this issue, at the final waypoint.

I’m using the Fenix A320, post BFU, patch 1, update. This happened pre BFU too.

RNP AR Approach Issues

My aircraft of choice is Fenix A320 FS2024. Managed mode, Final App. Flying two RNP AR approaches the aircraft gets to the last way point prior to rwy (final), when set in managed mode, then the descent becomes very shallow with the blue arrow jumping past the runway into the bush. This would lead to overflying the airport and impacting ground several miles away! The approaches I have had issues with are YBNA RNPX rwy 24 and the way point in question is NA470. It is similar to what you have written here, and at least my answer is the same. The sequences, restrictions, and limitations are correct for these two approaches. So, I can’t see any issue on the data side.

I’m curious about what Fenix said about your question.

Re. A320, RNAV AR approach issues at YBNA and YWLM

I have contacted Fenix and they have checked my data, after which I received their reply, informing me it is a known bug.
