Why is Navigraph (Not in USE) and Simbrief always wrong when it comes to runway selection at CYYZ. Toronto almost always uses the East/West runways unless the crosswind component is over 25kn but Simbrief constantly selects the 33 runways when 23/24’s are in use. Nav Canada published the active runway at all Canadian airports including CYYZ at the website https://spaces.navcanada.ca/workspace/ois/ Is it possible for Simbrief to read this data for planning?
No, we cannot scrape that website as it is against Nav Canada’s terms of service.
But I have added manual runway preferences for CYYZ now, so that the 15/33s are only used if the crosswind exceeds 25kts. There is of course no guarantee that it will always match the real-world runway in use, but it should be better now.

Regarding Navigraph Charts specifically, it only shows DEP, ARR and NOT USED when sourced from a text ATIS (if no such ATIS is found, the labels in question are not displayed). It supports the following sources:
- Real (FAA D-ATIS only)
- IVAO
- PilotEdge
- VATSIM
- SayIntentions
…but you can manually disable any source you don’t use under Settings, and set one priority source to be used when multiple enabled ATISes are available (also in Settings).
The page you linked to is very easily read by a human, however I am not quite sure it can be parsed by a computer program (let’s wait for feedback from actual Navigraph and Simbrief staff for a definitive answer though).
