Why do SimBrief FPlans have so many turns during cruise while real-world flights don't?

I know it is a dumb question, but I am really curious.

This is my SimBrief plan:

And this is a FlightRadar24 track of the same flight

Again sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am just curious.

A flight plan has a recommended route that you have to adhere to unless ATC clear you otherwise. Maybe on the real flight once the aircraft had cleared the Alps Austrian ATC cleared them Direct to… thus not having to follow the scheduled plan.
Also unless you looged your FP at exactly the same time as the real pilot wind, traffic all play a part in routing. Also real pilots don’t log onto simbrief to get their flight plan :slightly_smiling_face:

Also the second route offered by Simbrief:

EDDK KUMIK L603 TESGA ESATI DETEV DINKU BESNI LATLO OBEDI LULUD LDZA

…looks more like what the flight you are looking at might have flown.
