I have just completed an Introduction Guide to Navigraph Charts. It was 23 pages and pertains to a version older then the one I’m using (8.40.1). I have (partly) listened to a few Tutorials on You Tube (some very boring!) but I haven’t been able to find a way to create a flight plan in the .fms format that I could export to the flight plans folder of my X-Plane 12 installation like I do with Simbrief. There is an “export” option where I can select the format but does this exported flight plan goes to? Nice colors, nice functionalities, etc. but what’s the point if the results cannot be used in the simulator for flying??? Or please, tell me, what and where did I skipped?
Hi…,
Use you file manager to determine where your X-Plane.exe is located.
In Navigraph Charts with flight plan loaded, choose Export in X-Plane 11/12 .fms format, and navigate and Save to …your X-Plane 12\Output\FMS plans.
Cheers
Ian
Thank you Ian. Don’t know why my flight plans didn’t go all the way to \fms folder. Finger problem probably… They were all in the \output root folder. Sorry for bothering you. Cheers
