Weird things happening - no map-sign in request which fail and very slow to load

If I can get it to load the flight plan at all, the map view does not load. A refresh via the circular arrow that appears under the fail message leads to a server timeout error “The server took too long to respond.” Or it just throws me out or requests that I log in. Log ins often hang. Using Edge does not help. It has been this way for a week or so.

In game Navigraph seems to be OK but obviously can not load the flight plan if SimBrief has failed.

Hi, the server seems to be performing well and we haven’t received other recent reports of slowdowns.

I suspect an issue either at your ISP or, more likely, somewhere in the network between your ISP and the SimBrief server (which isn’t really in our control).

Normally these things self-resolve within a few days or weeks. In the mean time, you might see better performance if you try using a VPN (if you have one available). If it doesn’t resolve within a few days, you might also want to reach out to your ISP so they can investigate the route between their service and SimBrief.

Best regards,

Hi I would like to also feedback regarding this matter. I’m based in Singapore with 2 different ISP at home. One is a normal residential account and one is a business account with static IP address.

I like to report that the loading time is very long, in half of the time it times out.
Connecting through a VPN to European servers resolve the issue. If my assumption is correct, Pattaya (thailand) is from thailand… and it seems that asian users are affected with this… My friends in Philippines are also reporting this issue.

Thank you.

That sounds right to me. I am in Thailand but I have gigabit internet and can easily stream 4k video and download stuff at extreme speed. Only Simbrief seems to have this problem.

Today out of frustration I did all my flight planning in the Navigraph app and everything was fast and worked properly. I was finished in the app before Simbrief even finished loading (and asking me to login in again twice).
