Waypoint loop in generated flight plan

I recently generated a flight plan from simbrief (eddh to warr). However, the flight plan contains loops.

Generated flight plan:

As seen, we have RAMSA Z15 SEKDO RAMSA. My mcdu (msfs fbw a380) picks this up as a route loop and executes it literally. Is this an expected behaviour?

EDIT: Seems like simbrief assumes the second RAMSA as POVOS (according to the map at least)

Hi,
The reason is that you are using an outdated SID; RAMSA5B is outdated and has been replaced by RAMSA6B.

When you try your flightplan with the latest AIRAC cycle, you see that this route is invalid.

Make sure the addon in the sim uses the same AIRAC cycle to avoid this issue. It is highly recommended that all systems (the external one for flight planning and the internal FMCs) are in sync with the AIRAC.

Hope that helps
Richard

Thanks for the reply. Seems like my only option is to subscribe to navigraph to get the latest airac cycle?

Yes and no, it depends.

When you can use the same AIRAC cycle in your sim/addon as in Simbrief and stay on it, you don’t need a subscription.

ASOBO/MS updates the data in the background automatically, so all 3rd party addons that use possible outdated AIRAC runs into this problem.

The best is to subscribe, yes, because here you have the highest flexibility, and you can be sure that all your systems use the same data with the same quality.

Cheers
Richard
