Not sure if correct place for this. Created flight plan on SimBrief 2024. Plan linked to onboard 737 SimBrief Dispach includes VNAV levels per waypoints but when imported into FS 2024 737 Max the FMS shows cruising altitude for these waypoints, not the specific ones showing in SimBrief. Have looked at quite a few videos to find answer with no luck. Does anyone know what’s wrong here?
Hello,
The altitudes you see next to each waypoint in the navlog are predictions. Simbrief calculates them from your climb/descent profiles, cost index, weights and the forecast winds to produce the fuel and time numbers. Those aren’t altitude constraints, the only vertical figure that transfers is the cruise altitude.
Once loaded, the FMC builds its own vertical profile using the cruise altitude, performance data and any constraints that are coded into the navigation database (SID/STAR/Approach etc)
