Hi, I am wondering why the VOR bearing to another VOR is different when I add the ruler to it to measure or the purple line for my flight path. See pictures. I want to fly the 032 radial (V161 airway low IFR) from Mason City to RST Vor at Rochester. This is 032deg. But at the purple measurement bar higher up it says 37deg. This matches with the measurement ruler. Please could this be explained to aid my understanding - thanks.
The purple track line says 37deg - which is 5 deg in difference.
