User waypoint change from global to flight

Windows 11. New to charts and am planning cross country flights on the Academy. Mistakingly created global waypoints instead of specific only to flight. Looked thru forum and googled. I click on user waypoints tab, then on the global waypoint. Then edit. I can change the name, and the notes, but am not presented options to change waypoint type. Am I doing something wrong. Also checked iPad Charts with same results.

Hi Mark,

You can’t change the waypoint type. If you click on the Edit button, you can then delete the waypoint.

You can then create it as a flight only waypoint.

Okay, thanks Ian. Google made it sound that there was an option to do this, but perhaps a previous version. Thank you!
