Just wanted to point out that you cannot properly update the AIRAC for the TDFi Design MD-11 using the Navigraph Hub. It points the data to the wrong Community Folder in MSFS 2024. All of the files for the MD-11 are installed in the “Community 2024” folder and not the plain “Community Folder”. I have instead set it up to update using the FMS Data Manager – and pointed it to install in this path: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community2024\tfdidesign-aircraft-md11\Data\Primary\Data
Hi,
The navdata should not be placed in the community folder. It should be installed in the wasm work folder. TFDi has changed it according to the SDK.
Is it possible you are not on the latest version of the MD11? Which version has you installed?
Hi Richard. Yes - I am using the latest version of the MD-11 for MSFS 2024. When I originally installed/updated via the Navigraph Hub it did install it in the WASM work folder - and it is still there too, but the AIRAC did not update in the FMC – it only updated in the FMC when I updated it using the FMS Data Manager and directed it to that folder in the Community 2024 folder
… please report this to TFDi, because we have made this change exactly on their instructions. Also, I have a written confirmation from the TFDi devs, that this is working. We have made the change for approx one week during 2513 and they have tested it.
Here, what the devs wrote on Jan/15 to me via mail:
Thank you for that - it seems it’s worked well and users are quite happy.
Ok. I will test it again (removing from the “Community 2024) path I described and leaving it on in the WASM) to see if it was only an earlier glitch – and if it remains that the FMC does not update I will get with TFDi Design. Thanks for your attention to this.
