I purchased the msfs2024 version of the pmdg 737 via marketplace but get error message when trying to get data from simbrief. I validated account via or code on tablet in plane. “Simbrief not configured. Please enter your simbrief alias on the preferences tab to proceed.” The preferences tab is locked down and I can’t enter anything. I’ve signed in and out of Simbrief and msfs 2024 and still same error.
What I expected to happen.
Be able to import flight plan and other data into the pmdg 737 for msfs2024. It works fine in dame plane in msfs2020.
What actually happened
Error message above and inability to get Simbrief data into efb.

Welcome to Navigraph. You wrote that the “Preference tab” is locked down … can you post a screenshot showing this? It´s very uncommon and has nothing to do with our data.
… and here you must enter your SimBrief Alias/Name to use SimBrief correctly in the PMDG.
Please post a screenshot so that we can see what you mean by “locked down”. APU/Batterie is on I guess
I meant the alias field, on the preferences page. It won’t let me type my alias into it when I click into it with mouse. I’ve been able to do do with no issues in msfs 2020. Yes, power is on in the plane. Not sure a screen shot will show a thing different than what I’m describing but let me know.
Thanks- perhaps this has come up before? Seems weird it would be just a one off unless the plane is corrupted and I did validate the account by using the qr code generated and displayed in the efb.
OK… my fault. I was used to seeing the alias field turn a different color in msfs2020 indicating that the field was open for data entry. In this implementation apparently it does not turn a different color. I got the alias in and it’s functioning.
