UAL 2018 Issues with Fuel Ladder

When generating an OFP using the UAL ‘18 layout, Simbrief seems to treat ACF fuel as extra fuel rather than contingency. ACF (Analyzed Contingency Fuel) is exactly that, contingency, and thus should be counted against the Min. Takeoff Fuel.
Although two very different flights, I’ve included a photo of a real UAL release versus Simbrief.
The 00 PCT line should be replaced with the user selected ACF fuel.

Additionally the most recent update seems to have broken the system calculated flap settings in the TOW / LW Parameters boxes.

Hi, please give this thread a read regarding ACF support in SimBrief.

Long story short, you need to set the reserve fuel to “FAA (B343)” for the ACF to be placed above the line.

Various OFP formats still need to be updated with the new TLR values since the last update, might take a few weeks though.

Best regards,

Confirming that SimBrief already has the correct behavior.

ACF90/99 is required (above the line) fuel for B343 PBCF flight plans. The real PHOG-KSFO OFP posted above is a B343 release, therefore ACF90 is correctly depicted above the line.

In the SimBrief OFP screenshot, ACF90 is depicted below the line (i.e. not required for takeoff) because domestic fuel rules are being used (the release is KAUS-KMSY). ACF90 is not regulatory/required fuel under domestic rules.
