In SimBrief, the information for the runways for KTUS are incorrect. On google maps the runways for KTUS are: 11L, 11 R, 29L and 29R. When I Import my flight plane from the EFB on MSFS 2024. The MSFS 2024 crashes, due to the incorrect runways of 12, 04, 22 and 30. Could you please fix the runway information?
Hi,
This is not a SimBrief or data issue. SimBrief and the data are correct and show real-life.
Here is the latest FAA airport diagram of KTUS:
You see these runway idents: 04/22 and 12/30
Google Maps is not a real-world reference in this case because the images can be outdated as in this case.
I hope that helps,
Richard
Hi,
Could please explain why the real-life images Tucson International airport are showing different runway numbers? So are the satellite images incorrect? Please check the satellite images. Every time I try to import the flight plan using the information on SimBrief on EFB on FS2024 it keeps crashing. But when I use Phoenix international report and with other airports, MSFS 2024 doesn’t crash.
Hi,
I’m sorry, but a Google satellite view image is not a “real-time” image, so what you see could be outdated, and in this case, it´s outdated. Do you mean that the FAA is wrong here?
Here from Jeppesen:
… and here from Lido:
All references show the same runway idents. So, the runway idents in real life are 04/22 and 12/30 … When you mean all these references are wrong, please forward us an official reference (like from an AIP or similar) so we can report this to our data provider.
Cheers,
Richard
I am not saying anyone is wrong, but needs to be corrected. Does FAA have any proof with images showing the runways are correct in KTUS? How is the FAA providing their information. If you look at KPHX on Bing and Google and then look at KTUS. The reason for my complaint is that I am unable to import my flight into EFB in MSFS without it crashing on me.
MSFS 2024 is outdated with incorrect runway entries and numbering, this is likely leading to your issues. Navigraph can not correct the runway data in the sim and should be reported to Microsoft/Asobo
As for Bing/Google images they to can be outdated and are not a reliable or official source of information.

Tucson (TUS) Long-Term Airfield Changes
Effective November 30, 2023 TUS closed Runway 11R/29L permanently and began construction of a new south parallel runway and center taxiway. Work is expected to take approximately 2 years to complete, with the new runway anticipated to open in 2026. Additionally, once RWY 11R/29L closed, the runway numbers were updated to reflect the current magnetic declination of the earth’s poles. Runway 11L/29R was renumbered to RWY 12/30 and the crosswind runway, RWY 3/21 was renumbered to RWY 4/22. When completed, the new parallel runway will open as RWY 12R/30L and RWY 12/30 will become RWY 12L/30R.
Check the NOTAMs and listen to ATIS closely for closed surfaces and other pertinent operational information.
Thank you for proofing the information to me. I did provide this information to Microsoft and they are aware of the incorrect information.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
