Transferring a flight plan from Microsoft Flight Simulator to NaviGov shafts in the simulator fails

Hi,

When I load a Bush trip in 2024, start the flight, and load the Navigraph plugin, it will tell me that it found a flight plan from Flight Simulator and ask if I want to load it. If I say yes, it only gets the destination and departure airports right but all the waypoints are shown with a red exclamation mark.

The error message is that the item is in the wrong format

What can I do to fix this issue? I would like to see the full flight plan on Navigraph charts

The coordinates you are using are incompatible, unfortunately. Charts expects degree minute format or DMS.

The workaround for your case would be to export that flightplan from the bush trip to MSFS flight planner, then copy paste the route into charts. That will resolve on the manual entry bar on the top of the screen.

I will try that workaround tomorrow. I hope Navigraph can put a fix in the next version

To clarify and avoid wrong expectations: there is no issue we can fix, because we don’t support your addon/this addon format.

But you can add such a request as a wish to our wishlist.

There is no add-on involved. It’s just FS2024 out of the box. The issue happens when I click on this button, which seems to be Navigraph Chart functionality.

The flight plan is active and can be seen correctly on the Garmin 1000

Ah, understood. Thank you, Wolfgang, for the clarification, but the answer is similar… open a post in the wish list requesting support for DD (decimal degree) entries in the flightplan line too (include your screenshot for better understanding of your wish).
