I’m having trouble completing the Traffic Pattern lesson. I’m scoring overall in the 90’s but failing on the downwind leg because I’m “within 1,200 m of the checkpoint on the downwind and turn to base. I’ve tried many different locations to start the turn but can’t seem to find the desired checkpoint. Can anyone give me a hint about where to locate it please.
Hello, the turn to base should be right on a 45 Degree to the runway. A good marker is the strut in the Cessna. When that is 45 degrees to the runway end start your turn to base. Try that and see how it goes.
