SWA OFP Updates

Hello there have been a few minor changes and additions to the SWA OFP. The fuel is no longer short hand, the time next to fuel now uses the proper : rather than +. There’s also an additional signature line. I have attached 2 screenshots. Please update when able. If I come across any other changes I’ll provide another update.

yes ive messaged one of the teammates about this when the changed happened a few months back, nothing got updated sadly. hoping they can get this updated!

Thanks for the info, the SWA layout has now been updated.

Cheers,

@SimBrief Derek you rock! The new format looks legit identical to irl flightkeys format thank you very much!!

Real quick sir I noticed a slight glitch with Simbrief’s new flightkeys SWA simbrief OFP format. Regarding the FL CHANGE section of the release: For step climbs and step downs, they are supposed to go directly to the next line below the initial crz alt. Not continue on the same line as the initial cruise alt.

For the image above, it should look like this instead:

Is there a chance we could get that fixed?

As well, with FlightKeys dispatch planning software, SWA now has a variable cost index range from anywhere between 5 and 80 depending on cruise wind (headwind vs tailwind) and ontime performance. This variable cost index range is only for NON-ETOPS flights. The computer calculates that value automatically. Would there be any way to allow us to use the AUTO feature for cost index but to limit the allowed range from 5 to 80? Perhaps maybe add an adjustable min and max value for cost index in the “saved airframes” that would also work in the api?

Thank you for all your help sir I greatly appreciate all the work you do for us!!

Hi,

For what it’s worth, the auto CI range SimBrief uses is already 5-80 for the 737, so it should already be using the proper range for SWA ops.

Perhaps in the future there can be an option to customize this but not likely to come soon.

Regarding the step climbs, a sample from a few months ago actually did not show them on separate lines:

Can you confirm that they always show on separate lines now? I want to make sure it doesn’t depend on some other factors for example.

Best regards,
