Hello, the routing for EVRA - EETN is always suggesting VANAG DCT KEMET while in real life 99% of flights do SOKVA DCT KEMET, therefore I request the suggested routing to be removed/changed.
This has been listed as a realworld route retrieved from the server as actually flown and is valid, just as SOVKA DCT KEMET is. Users choice surely.
It was flown maybe once or twice in years, the main problem is that considering actual traffic flightplans it should never be the #1 routing but rather #2 behind the mentioned routing for three reasons.
- As I said previously this route was/is flown very rarely while SOKVA is files multiple times per day!
- Yes people can decide but when looking at actual dispatch data on vatsim about 80-90% of pilots don’t look at any routing and just click dispatch.
- Additional workload for the ACC controller that can be avoided.
That is a bit different to VANAG DCT KEMET not been realworld rather than a lisiting of SOKVA DCT KEMET as a VATSIM preferred route.
If you read again the first message did say „99% of flights do SOKVA DCT KEMET“, I have not once said the VANAG routing is invalid/not from real life.
My aim was never to remove the routing in its entirety but rather rework the logic to respect day to day operations (e.g. from air baltic) instead of a one off routing that rarely gets used.
