Small issue with missing/blank "Center" icon

Hi,

After the fix of the moving map display on Android (8.45.1 - thanks!), just to let you know I see a small problem that the compass icon (center aircraft on map; compass) located in the bottom right corner below the ellipsis and above the moving map enablement icon (arrow pointer icon) is initially showing blank i.e a dark grey square is shown but no symbology (compass center) is shown.

By touching the blank icon once, the map is correctly centered and the “compass center” symbol then appears inside the grey square icon. After that initial touch, the compass icon remains displayed.

Problem appears to be cosmetic in nature. Functionality appears unaffected.

Some new users may question what the blank icon is there for.

This issue was seen immediately after the 8.45.1 fix and no one has reported it yet. Thought you should know.

Cheers

Mark

Hello,

Just so we can investigate a little further, what is the mobile device you are using, its OS and did you try to uninstall/reinstall the app?

Thanks

Hi Gordon,

Android 16 and its a Samsung table S9 FE. I last updated the app 1 week ago to implement the fix.

I have now just uninstalled the Chart app on the tablet and re-installed and icon is now showing as expected. Dont know why just updating the update on the tablet caused this issue last week?

Regards,

Mark

Great!

Its possible app cache was the culprit. Its not uncommon for apps to accumulate stale cache when update upon update is applied, rather than a fresh installation.
