SimLink won't allow sign in on new iMac with M1 chip

I just installed X-Plane and the latest version of Navigraph Charts for Mac on a new iMac with Apple’s M1 chip. When launching SimLink, the program does open a browser and ask for Navigraph credentials, but he sign-on process never completes. Everything ran well on my older iMac with the Intel chip, so I’m wondering if this is a problem with the new chip? Also, Navigraph on my iPad reports “A running simulator is not detected” when the locator arrow is touched. Any ideas?

Hi…,

The iPad message shows when Simlink is not running on the PC.

The iMac (whether M1 or not) should run Simlink without problem.

I suggest you uninstall Charts and Simlink on the iMac, download and install the latest Charts and Simlink for macOS. Please let us know how you get on.

Cheers
Ian
