SIMLINK not working with FS2024 but works with FS2020

Hello I am having an issue with FS2024 not being detected by simlink and navigraph charts wont detect aircraft because of this. I also notice that a virtual airlines ACARS system is not recognizing the sim is running either. any idea what the issue could be?

Hi…,

Welcome.

Does this occur for the web based Navigraph Charts ?

I suggest you try a complete Simlink install :

  • If they exist, delete directories
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.

  • Then, download and install the latest Simlink.

  • Restart computer

Also, please post screenshots of the steps you are taking to turn off Moving Map together with any error messages using Guide to posting Screenshots

Cheers

I’m having the exact same problem and have done all the steps described. It’s somewhat intermittent. Yesterday it worked just fine but not this morning.

Hello,

In the previous version of Simlink, it started broadcasting data on Airport selection in the MSFS main menu; however, that data was not valid. In the new version of Simlink, it detects valid data once your aircraft is loaded and the flight is ready to start.

Now you can see the moving map as the flight starts.

Please feel free to let us know if you still have the issue.

Thank you!
