Upgraded to tje latest simlink version 1.1.40.1707 and under the “settings” tab “application” section I have “Start Simlink on system startup” option uncheck and it does not obey that option.
It shows un “Task Manager” as enabled and when I restart my system, Simlink also starts..
If you are using any third-party application that can modify system settings, particularly those that manage the list of startup applications in Windows, such as CCleaner, please check the settings within that application. If the Simlink application is listed, be sure to remove it or disable its autostart feature.
If you continue to experience the issue, please feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you Vishal. I was able to do it manually but my question is what’s the point of having the option on the app to disable “autostart” if it is not going to obey it.
There are many third-party applications that can change system settings, including making direct modifications to the Windows registry or managing their own startup lists. This means that, whenever these applications or their background services start, they can independently manage their startup processes.
We appreciate your feedback and will certainly consider your points. If possible and based on priority, we will address these concerns in future updates of Simlink.
