Hello, Gordon,
I completed the troubleshooting steps you recommended.
I reset the Windows network stack using the recommended netsh commands and restarted the computer. After rebooting, I verified that Internet connectivity and DNS resolution are working normally, including resolving and loading a site I had not previously visited.
I then tested the Navigraph components separately:
• Navigraph Charts is working normally. I removed the current flight plan, imported an older KSFO–KLAX flight plan, opened the IRNMN2 arrival chart, and successfully displayed it as an overlay.
• SimBrief functionality also appears to be working normally.
• Simlink remains broken. After starting X-Plane and opening AviTab, all Navigraph chart directories still show 0 charts, exactly as before the network reset.
I also installed all Windows updates that were available before performing these tests.
At this point, the problem appears isolated to Simlink or its communication path rather than to general Internet connectivity, DNS, Navigraph Charts, or SimBrief.
I previously supplied the Simlink logs, which you indicated were helpful. Since the recommended Windows network reset did not resolve the problem, please let me know what you determine is causing the Simlink failure and what resolution Navigraph recommends.
I am not an IT professional and am not comfortable making further changes to the Windows networking configuration without a specific, established fix.
Thank you,
Gary

Hello,
Thank you for the details and the logs, those are really helpful.
Can you try the following, please,
- Press the Windows key
- Enter CMD, right click and run it as administrator
- Then enter these one at a time
- ipconfig/flushdns
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
- Then reboot your computer.
Once your computer is rebooted
- Press the Windows key
- enter CMD and type - nslookup identity.api.navigraph.com
If that returns an address, all good.
If it is still failing after this, set a public DNS on your computers network adapter.
settings → network & internet → your network adapter → DNS server assignment → manual → IPv4 → Preferred 1.1.1.1, Alternate 8.8.8.8
Then reboot and retest the nslookup command again.
