Simbrief general question

hi can someone help,

is the VIsion Jet out for xbox that has navigraph integrated in it . It is still not on marketplace, what other planes does navigraph support on xbox, i can import flight plant into a320neo, but no moving map at all

also, when i am in MFD and viewing the route of airplane, it is not aligned with the airway i am flying, slightly off course compared to the magenta moving map on external monitor, perfectly alighned with airways, maybe a bug in simbrief G1000 moving map on MFD

Hi…,

For your first question, please take a look at the table at Navigraph Xbox.

For your technical query, it’s best to post as a separate thread at General non MSFS data - Navigraph . Please include full details of the operating system, flight sim, and aircraft, so we can replicate.

Cheers

Ian

the table is for fs2020 not fs2024 xbox unfortunately

it also says the honda jet support moving map, but it does not, i own it via the deluxe version no moving map on navigraph or simbrief integration at all in the MFD or PFD under utilities

The HondaJet is not a standard MSFS 2024 aircraft, it’s not in the Deluxe (or any other edition):

Regarding the Vision Jet, the standalone payware for FS 2020 also includes Simlink and Simbrief integration, however the Vision Jet included as a default MSFS 2024 aircraft does not (as far as I know).

Probably the Navigraph page should clarify this.

Regards,

Tim

As I understand, there is a Hondajet for MSFS 2024 on Xbox that can be purchased. We shall try to find out if this has Moving Map functionality.

You might also ask FlightFX yourself.

Cheers

Ian

This is correct. When FlightFX collaborated with Microsoft to bring their aircraft into the simulator as a “default aircraft”, they were forced by Microsoft to remove the Navigraph integration.

The page title is “Supported Aircraft and Features for MSFS 2020 on Xbox” - where the FlightFX aircraft can only be accessed through the marketplace.

We currently do not have a similar page for MSFS2024. We’ll consider such an update!

Please clarify which aircraft you are referring to - As @Rodeo314 mentioned, the Hondajet is not included in the base simulator. Maybe you got it through the marketplace, or maybe you are referring to the Vision jet?

there is none to purchase on xbox marketplace for honda jet. the one i have came with the deluxe version and i can see charts in MFD however, no simbrief utlity link at all what so ever and cannot use moving map on external monitor separately like the FSR 500

appreciate your help, let me know thank you again

There is:

I have the premium deluxe version, and there is no Hondajet included.

There is a Vision jet though:

the one i have already is cirrus vision jet G2 that came with it, but no simbrief which is similar to what you have in photo

Thank you for clarifying! I understand that your original (and remaining) question is why the Vision Jet G2 (link to image) that comes with MSFS 2024 does not have Simbrief integration.

The answer was provided here:

You mentioned that you are seeing charts in the Vision Jet. If you look closely, you will see that these charts come from LIDO - they’re the ones included in the simulator. This means that Working Title, who develop the avionics for these aircraft, have added the charts feature to the default aircraft.

To be clear: This is not the Navigraph integration. Our integration would use Jeppesen charts (not LIDO), and it would also provide SimBrief import functionality.

Currently, there is no way for us to provide our own integration for this aircraft. The only possible way is if FlightFX got permission to publish a version with our integration to the Marketplace, where you would have to buy it. It is not likely that they are even allowed to do so, if I’m being honest.

We’ve been on the lookout for ways to convince Microsoft to let us publish our own integrations to the Marketplace, but we have so far been unsuccessful. We have not given up and we will continue looking, but for now this is unfortunately out of our hands!

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Aside from fsr500 which I am using with navigraph fs2024 Xbox

What other planes is supported

That is a great question! As mentioned earlier in the topic, we should absolutely consider creating an MSFS 2024 specific XBox compatibility list. The one that is currently on our website applies to MSFS 2020.

We shall get back to you on this topic after we have asked around among third parties who usually include our integrations.

Appreciate your help thank you
