Simbrief fuel

I have question when I generate import flight from simbrief

I even have extra 90 min of fuel

As I am flying while on approach plane runs out of fuel and shuts down airbus

make sure your pane or simbrief isnt KG to LBS or visa versa.

I made sure of that cause I got Ernie changed on game to lbs to match simbrief

Hello, so is this fixed? You can try to post a screen shot as well.

no, now i have more issues in the EFG aircraft setting i ensured it’s in lb, in landing performance i ensured it’s in pounds ,my simbrief is in pounds as well, now it is saying unable to do performance data then runway too short after making passengers down to zero, it won’t let me change the runway either in the EFG under landing performance. i gave up. i tried like 10 different scenarios.since i always run out of fuel given all is on auto and reserve of 90 minute of fuel iwll send photos

EFB sorry typo, EFB in inibuild where i import the flight plan, not the SIM EFB

I just did another flight after 5 min fuel ran out

Hello again, yes, this seems odd. I just tested my SimBrief with the A340 and it gave me 28,000 LBS of fuel. Can you take a picture of the fueling tab in the EFB after you load it up and refuel it?

i am just flying now telling me destination efob below min. i mean i had simbrief auto caluclate everything and i even added 90 more min of fuel time, almost going to crash lol, out of fuel on flight from lax to vegas will send more photos

Here is another flight lax to las almost out of fuel see ops fuel all generated auto added 99 min extra fuel as l

Hi, regarding this issue:

This seems to be a bug with iniBuilds. It has auto-populated the runway length (TORA) as 2391 feet. The runway is actually 7864 ft long.

I recommend reporting this to iniBuilds support. And/or using SimBrief’s own performance calculator instead.

Regarding the fuel issue:

  1. This just means that you will arrive with less than your reserve fuel, not that you will run out of fuel.
  2. This might be due to cruising at 11,000 ft. Why are you forcing it so low? It’s possible the iniBuilds FMS predictions and/or fuel burns are inaccurate at such a low altitude, since jets almost never cruise that low for extended periods. Try leaving the altitude blank and letting SimBrief automatically choose your altitude (it should choose something higher like FL290).
  3. Have you tried actually continuing the flight? Do you manage to land or do you actually run out of fuel?

My main feeling is that you still have enough fuel to complete the flight, but the iniBuilds fuel burn is a bit off and therefore resulting in a low fuel message.

If you still have issues, on your next flight, please send the following screenshots:

  1. Screenshot of your INIT B page (the one with the fuel and payload values) before you push back.
  2. Screenshot of your FUEL PRED and F-PLN MCDU pages, when halfway through the flight at cruising altitude.
  3. Screenshot of your EWD (upper middle cockpit screen) halfway through the flight when at cruising altitude.
  4. Screenshot of your FOB and associated MCDU pages after landing.

Best regards,

i was experimenting ECAS supposed to say pull up pull up terrain, but i was flying at 11000 feet all way, before getting to approach i run out of fuel and i crashed, same thing on heathrow i tried, and LAX , ran out of fuel mid flight i was at 20000 then

Hello again. In addition to what Derek said, I can attest that SimBrief is correct for me as I have flow this aircraft from Cape Town to Antarctica with no issues. Can you check the fuel dump valve closed? Also let’s check the FF at cruise. When you test again can you take a shot of the overhead and the FF figures. Say LAX-LAS

Very weird all seems to work fine now

By even setting my own altitude
