SimBrief fails to incorporate Custom Departure/Arrival and waypoints weather from ActiveSky in generated OFP

I have setup custom weather in ActiveSky for the arrival, departure, and winds aloft and at specific altitudes at waypoints for a route in SImBrief. I have tried 1) the “Upload Active Sky weather” from the Simbrief taskbar icon, 2) SimBrief dispatch Historical Weather: “Enabled - Use your uploaded snapshot”, and 3) “Update - Upload a new weather Snapshot.”

After the “Generate Flight” is done and I check the generated OFP, NONE of the weather that was set for the Custom Weather shows up in the OFP for arrival, departure or the waypoints. It appears to only use the live weather.

I reported this issue to Active Sky support (HiFi Zendesk) and tried what they suggested. Nothing worked so they said to contact SImBrief/Navigraph support. So here I am.

I am using MSFS 2024 (build 1.6.34.0), the PMDG 737-800 (2024).

Please help me get this to work.

Hi, we rely on the Active Sky API endpoints and current_wx_snapshot.txt file when exporting weather.

It’s possible these endpoints do not reflect the custom weather modifications you’ve defined, in which case there is nothing we can do about that I’m afraid.

Only Active Sky can give proper guidance on what specific weather customizations are passed on by their API. If there are multiple ways to define custom weather, you might try using different methods to see if they are reflected in the export.

How exactly are you defining your custom weather in Active Sky, are you using a series of custom weather areas? If so what radius are you using? Can you provide a screenshot of how you have set this up in Active Sky?
