SimBrief data only partially loading in iniBuilds A380 EFB on Xbox Series X

Hi,

iniBuilds Support suggested that I contact you regarding a possible localization/data transmission issue between SimBrief/Navigraph and the iniBuilds A380 EFB.

I am using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Xbox Series X.

SimBrief worked correctly with the A380 EFB during my first flights, but over the last few days the EFB has started receiving only part of the SimBrief data.

The aircraft correctly detects the flight number, origin/destination, estimated flight time and passenger count, but the following fields remain blank:

  • Initial altitude / cruise
  • Route distance
  • Trip wind / wind component
  • Planned load and fuel values
  • Routing
  • Origin and destination METAR/TAF

The Weather section remains stuck on “Awaiting Data”.

My SimBrief OFP itself is fully generated and contains all of these values.

An important troubleshooting detail is that the CPNY F-PLN REQUEST in the aircraft FMS works correctly: the company flight plan is received and can be inserted into the FMS. Therefore the SimBrief connection itself appears to be working, while the issue seems isolated to the EFB data import.

I have already:

  • verified the numeric SimBrief User ID
  • confirmed SimBrief and the EFB are both using KG
  • logged out and back into Navigraph from the A380 EFB
  • removed all iniBuilds tokens from the Navigraph Devices page and re-authorised the EFB
  • generated completely new SimBrief OFPs
  • restarted MSFS completely without Quick Resume

iniBuilds Support mentioned that this may be related to localization or the way Navigraph/SimBrief transmits the data.

Could you please check whether there is any issue with the SimBrief API/account response that could cause an EFB integration to receive only part of the OFP data?

I can provide screenshots of the complete SimBrief OFP alongside the partially populated A380 EFB.

Thanks,
Michele
