Hi, recently Simbrief started completely ignoring the ICAO semi-circular rules when planning cruise levels.
For example:
In both cases, cruise level is completely wrong. In the first, it should be even, in second it should be odd.

Hi Darrian
Semi circular rules do not always apply on designated airways (L,H,RNAV) for which available levels are published in section ENR3 of country AIPs
As an exemple of one of your flight plan T709 from VOZ to BODAL has Odd levels assigned. The same is true for L726 from BODAL to TUMKA
Consequently FL170 is correct for this flight plan
Czech Republic AIP is available here
Hope it will help
Hervé
Except when you take a closer look on my flight plan, I am NOT using the Airways
And I am flying above the maximum airway altitude, therefore using the FRA rules.
Correct. There was a confusion here regarding what (maybe) was a proposed route on page 2 (?)
LKTB/09 120 134 VOZ5M VOZ T709 BODAL L726 TUMKA TUMKA4R
But these airways cannot be flown above FL95 anyway
In FRA airspace (the case here), East-West FLOS conventional semi circular rule should apply in accordance with Czech AIP ENR 1.7 unless some RAD define available levels differently (to be checked)
I presume Simbrief didn’t take that into account correctly, at least in this particular case
Hervé
Fixed now.
Best regards,
Ah, I see now. You are talking about the alternate route. Yes, I am aware of that, and I am also aware that those airways cannot be flown above FL95. The flight was dispatched via API in the system where we don’t have an option to manually choose an alternate route, so that was beyond my control.
