"Server returned HTTP status 401"

I have been having problems connecting SimLink and Navigraph Charts. SimLink says “Server returned HTTP status 401” which is an authorization issue. I have several constant issues with connecting the two. As I was looking for a solution, I read a reply from NaviGraph, “We have thousands of users that don’t have problems”. I assure you that is not the case at all. Most of the time the issue can be remedied with a reboot or restarting the programs, so you rarely hear of it.

I love the upgrades to NaviGraph Charts, HOWEVER, there’s a host of bugs that you’re not hearing about either, like the map disappears to a black screen from time to time. Restart the program and boom, you don’t hear about it.

Back to my issue, I signed out and back into both apps, rebooted both computers (Charts is on a seperate laptop), and double checked all my settings. I have been using SimLink with Charts successfully for 3 years now with Xplane 11 & 12, so I am not a “newbie”. Thank you for listening and your help.

Please check you have Simlink only installed and running on your one Flight Sim machine.
