As oriented by the Navigraph team via e-mail, follows:
Hello folks,
I just subscribed to Navigraph 03/March, and to avoid any conflict, i reinstalled MSFS from zero.
Afterwards, started Navigraph HUB installing the AIRAC 2502 MSFS DATABASE update.
Installed PMDG 737NG and Carenado Seneca V (With PMS5 GTN 750).
When i started a flight in my home airport (SBNF) i was shocked by the lack of procedures, even when the Jepp charts tell a different story (There are many DEP, ARR and APR procedures).
I saved sometime to create the table in annex, where the areas in RED are the most critical, in YELLOW the “not critical but something is missing”, and in GREEN “all ok”.
Update: Tried different G1000 Asobo aircrafts and all of them have the same problem.
Update2: Exploring the BGL files (NAX35410), i found all the approaches, STARs and SID’s. But why the standard Asobo G1000 cannot see them? In other airports it works like a charm…
Hi,
As you identified yourself, this is not an issue on our side because we offer all terminal procedures, and as you have found out, the procedures are all included.
The issue here is the outdated scenery in MSFS, especially the runway idents. When you compare the runway idents in reality with those in the sim, you will see they are different.
The sim turns off the terminal procedures when they can’t be assigned to a runway. Therefore, you can’t select the procedures because the stock scenery in the sim doesn’t reflect the real world. That’s a limitation in the sim (2020 and 2024). Even when we could, we may not change the runway-idents from stock sceneries (in 2024, we can’t, even when we could, due to the streaming technology).
Tested right now and indeed, all the DEP procedures for SBCH appeared to me on the G1000, i think i made a mistake on the table i sent, i’m sorry.
But something that i cannot understand is why MSFS is capturing only the RNAV 08 Z, but the other 5 procedures not…if the issue was the airport itself, not even RNAV 08 Z should be visible.
I think that it might be a good idea to contact Working Title about this, i don’t know, maybe they can help too.
Could you check in MSFS2024 please if all the procedures of SBNF appear in G1000?
I mean, maybe Microsoft/Working Title “abandoned” the GNS530/G1000 in MSFS 2020…
Understand Richard, i’m very sad to know that Microsoft/Asobo abandoned MSFS 2020 right now…
i can see that avionics that uses its own database (like PMDG) works great with Navigraph, do you know any GNS530 and/or G1000 that uses a “not MSFS” database, like PMDG?
