I have all the navigraph addons installed for MSFS 2024 and i am running a clean installation of MSFS 2024 with only navigraph installed. I never had this problem in MSFS 2020, all of the waypoints were there.
Using the stock G1000 C172 I’m unable to find a lot of waypoints some being RNAV and some being VORs. I don’t understand why, I’ve tried uninstalling navigraph, reinstalling the entire simulator, nothing works.
For example, I can’t input the RNAV waypoint “SINNO” into the G1000. “SINNO” Is an IAF for the RNAV 32 into KRDU. Because I don’t have this waypoint or the other waypoints in the IAP I can’t fly the procedure.
Any help would be appreciated!
Can you confirm you have the latest AIRAC cycle installed via Navigraph hub?
I’m able to load up the RNAV 32 into KRDU and have SINNO as the IAF.
Thanks for the quick response, and yeah I have everything installed.
Whenever I try to enter SINNO i just get that it does not exist. I am also unable to load/activate the RNAV 32 IAP.
Are any of the other approaches available with their appropriate procedures?
Nope, I’m unable to load any IFR approaches at KRDU… All of the waypoints do not exist. No clue how any of this could be happening. I’m on a complete reinstall of windows and a complete reinstall of MSFS 2024.
I’m also unable to load approaches at other airports
Odd.
Firstly, isolate your community folder. You can find this folder by visiting the Marketplace and clicking “my library” up on the top. Then click the small gear cog on the upper right of the screen
Once you have found the Community directory, rename it to something else eg CommunityTest or something like that.
Secondly, find your content.xml file and delete it. Depending on where you purchased MSFS2024, it will be in one of these directories
Sim from Marketplace:
%localAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Sim from Steam:
%appData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator
Then start MSFS2024 and let it rebuild the missing locations.
Just did all of that, and the sim rebuilt everything but I still cant load the waypoints and the approaches. I think this may be a sim issue because even with navigraph uninstalled and a clean install of the simulator I can’t even get SINNO to load on the tablet. I wonder if you can get SINNO to load on the tablet using asobo’s default database because I can’t.
It doesn’t show up. With navigraph installed it’s the same issue.
Here is the SINNO waypoint:
Please upload your content.xml file here.
Thank you,
Richard
I just found out that if I go into the marketplace and manually disable all navigraph addons then enable them again it all works, I can load SINNO and all of the approaches.
But I have to disable and re-enable them every time I load up the sim.
I think I may just have to do that every time I fly, I don’t know what else could be the issue
Here’s my content.xml file
Content.xml (89.7 KB)
Can confirm that you don´t have any 3rd party sceneries/packages installed? Not via Marketplace nor from any other website? Is this correct?
Can you try following please?
Can you un-install all navigraph packages via the Hub, but not the AIRAC updates. So that the Hub looks like:
After that re-start the sim and try it again (without disable/enable the package in the Marketplace).
Cheers,
Richard
Yes, I have no 3rd party sceneries/packages installed. I have a complete vanilla installation of FS 2024 with only navigraph.
I uninstalled everything except for the airac cycle and unfortunately still had the same issue with the waypoints not showing up
Ok thanks for testing and the confirmation. Please can you search this waypoint in the EFB again but not in the route page - like
A further test on the worldmap - like:
You wrote, that you don´t find the waypoint in the stock data either, right? Could it be, that you installation is corrupt?
Cheers,
Richard
Yup, I couldn’t find the waypoint in the stock data either. I am thinking it could be my installation, but I’ve went as far to having a complete reinstall of windows and the simulator. I don’t know how my installation could be corrupted because I’ve done a complete reinstall of my system and MSFS 2024.
Not able to find it on the EFB
For some reason two SINNO’s come up on the world map
Yeah, it is your installation … you don´t use AddonLinker or similar tools? Do you have Steam or the Marketplace version of MSFS2024? Have you installed the sim in the default folder, or made any changes elsewhere?
To be honest, I can´t really believe this is a navdata-related issue, because at least in the stock data, you should have this waypoint.
Cheers,
Richard
Yeah I am starting to think its related to my installation as well. It’s the steam version of MSFS 2024 and I haven’t made any changes to the simulator. I don’t use any additional tools.
I think I will have to stick to disabling and re-enabling navigraph in marketplace and maybe one day it’ll work somehow
Thank you so much for all the help I really appreciate it! Have an awesome rest of your day

Hi again Eli,
Thanks for your kind words - what I can offer you as a last step is that we make a 1:1 remote session, and I will look into it if I find out what happened. Normally, we don´t offer such remote connection support, but in some cases, I don´t see any chance to find out what happened behind the scenes
It´s up to you - you can contact me directly via PM here in the forum.
In the meantime, also a wonderful start to this week for you, and thanks for your kind answers (and of course patience) - much appreciated.
Cheers,
Richard
