RJTT ILS Z RWY 34L G/S Issue

I’m not sure when this issue started, but with the ILS Z RWY 34L approach at RJTT (Tokyo Haneda International Airport), the G/S signal capture is consistently delayed.

It seems that the G/S signal does not quite “reach” APOLO, which is the point where the descent begins. If I manually descend slightly, the G/S diamond then appears on the display, and I am able to engage approach mode. The LOC signal is received without any problems.

I experienced the same behavior with the PMDG 777, iniBuilds A350, and the default B787. The presence or absence of an airport add-on does not make any difference. Even when approaching the G/S from below, the signal cannot be captured until after passing APOLO.

I have no problems with G/S capture at any other airport.

Is this behavior based on the real-world procedure/specification, or am I doing something incorrectly?

Thank you in advance for your time and support in looking into this issue.

Hi,
You wrote that this happens with the default B787, too. When you use the stock navdata (remove our data via Hub), can you capture the GS earlier with the stock B787?

Can you confirm that it is working in the default B787 using the stock data?

Cheers
Richard

Hi,

Thank you very much for your interest in this issue and for getting back to me.

I apologize for the delayed reply. I haven’t had a chance to find time for a test flight until now.

I removed the Navigraph data via Navigraph Hub and then conducted a test flight using the default B787 with the stock navdata.

With the stock data, I was able to capture the G/S signal normally at ARLON, which is before APOLO.

Thank you again for looking into this issue. I hope this information helps.
