Provision of using UPI payments for Indian Customers

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an option of using UPI Payments (Unified Payments Interface) for Indian customers who would like to but cannot purchase a subscription at this moment due to a change in RBI guidelines last year that cut them out of the market due to issues with regular PSP’s being able to comply with the same. Most major subscription based companies like Netflix, Spotify, Primevideo, Hotstar already use the same facility to process exactly the kind of recurring payments via UPI that Navigraph also does. If this new method could be implemented, then it would ease the issue of payments and remove a significant barrier for Indian customers from accessing Navigraph’s stellar portfolio of products.

Hi,

I guess it would be technically possible but it also comes with a large investment. And the companies you mention have several orders of magnitude larger turnover from India. But we have some more low-hanging ideas that we are considering for Indian customers. We’ll need to get back at a later date though.
