Problematic NORTH and SOUTH Waypoints for EGHH Departures

Hi all

I seem to have a regular problem if I create Simbrief flightplans departing out of EGHH (Bournemouth).

EGHH has 4x SIDs: NORTH (incl. NORTH-WEST), EAST, SOUTH, AND WEST.

However for some reason, when creating a route, if Simbrief dictates that I should depart from either the NORTH or SOUTH SID, it uses a waypoint in Belgium, which obviously causes issues with the flightplan.

I actually found an old post (here) where someone previously reported the same problem, and it was apparently fixed but the problem must be back again.

Can someone please work on a permanent fix?

Hello Mike,

These are not SID’s but rather depature routes that would be flown in accordance with the text published on the chart.

Indeed you are correct, but should the chart within Simbrief really map it out like that? Seems wrong.

The departures in question are not coded in the database. The SOUTH and NORTH fixes, on the other hand, do exist in the database.

Thus you cannot use NORTH and SOUTH in your route for flight planning purposes.
