Hello everyone,
I’m writing to you today hoping to find some help to solve my problem.
First, a little introduction: I’m in France, I’m 76 years old and my English is very poor; I’m using a translator to write. Second, I hope this message is in the right place.
My problem: I’m suddenly having a problem with Navigraph Simlink. I’ve an account for several years, and for the past few days, I haven’t been able to track my aircraft on the charts. I keep getting this message: “Unable to connect to the simulator, Simlink must be running. Learn more about Simlink here.” I’ve tried everything, searched the forums, I’m going crazy…
Please help me.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards.
Tintin
Hello,
Welcome to the Navigraph forum!
To use the moving map functionality in the Charts application, you need to run the Simlink application on the same system where Flight Simulator is running. Additionally, make sure you are logged into the Simlink application.
Once you are logged in, you should see the Simlink window as shown below:
If you still encounter issues, please send us the Simlink log file located in the %APPDATA%/Navigraph/Simlink/logs folder.
Feel free to contact us if you continue to experience problems.
Thank you!

Hello Vishalahir
Thank you for your email, and please excuse my delayed response; I was away.
My Windows window looks exactly like the one you showed me.
The day after your message, everything went back to normal without me touching anything. I don’t understand what happened.
However, something new has appeared: it used to take between 3 and 4 minutes to load FS2020, and now it takes more than 7 minutes. Something must have happened, but what?
FS2020 is definitely very temperamental.
If you have any ideas about this problem, please let me know. Thank you very much.
Have a good day.
Best regards,
Gilbert Zanettin
Hello,
We are pleased to hear that your issue has been resolved.
Regarding Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 running slowly, several factors can impact performance, including hardware limitations, MSFS data updates, and other software that may be consuming CPU or memory resources.
If you encounter any issues with the Navigraph product, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
