Dear support.
Xplane11. How can I fully hide my aircraft real positions on the charts? I want to practise without any feedback about my position.

Hi..,
You have posted in the Charts iOS category. In Charts iOS, you should turn off “Enable Moving Maps”
If not Charts iOS, so we can assist, please post Information requested when posting an issue - #5 .
Cheers
Ian
Dear Ian,
I am flying on PC. Does not work what you said. Still visible the moving aircraft
symbol on the charts, excluding on the parking stand charts.
So pls show me the way just to clear out the AC symbol from charts.
Thanks in advance.

Hi…,
Welcome.
Does this occur for the web based Navigraph Charts ?
I suggest you try a complete Simlink install :
Please use the Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink:
If they exist, delete directories
c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.
Then, download and install the latest Simlink.
Restart computer
Also, please post screenshots of the steps you are taking to turn off Moving Map together with any error messages using Guide to posting Screenshots
Cheers
Ian
Dear Ian,
I have performed all steps what you said.
Deleted by windows via programs removal and new installation with the latest version is performed.
I am not using web based navigraph.
Picture is attached to this mail.
Same result, moving symbol is active everywhere.

You have to press the “off” button here to disable it:
Perhaps more importantly, if you never want to see the aircraft position it may be easier to just uninstall Navigraph Simlink (as in removing it altogether from the sim PC).

Tim
Dear Tim,
As you can see in my attachment, is in off position already.
If I am delete the simlink, what about the avitab? Will I have avitab in the xplane?

My bad; it does seem off indeed. Have you considered removing Simlink like I suggested?
Regards,
Tim
Edit: also, can you provide a screenshot of the aircraft position in the Navigraph Charts application even with the moving maps off? It’s not visible in the screenshot you provided earlier.
Dear Friend.
Very, very strange. Simlink deleted. Xplane gives pop up message with no simlink notification.
Same issue. Moving aircraft symbol over navigraph charts.
But how?

Good question. We can’t see any reasonable explanation.
I am also interested in what @olafie asked for:
Dear Support.
What’ s next? Still I have position indication in the avitab on the navigraph charts.
When you delete the simlink completely, xplane still have position indication for avitab charts but for the desktop in this case nothing, with no position date message.

You’ll have top ask the AviTab developer if the aircraft position on the map can be disabled.
AviTab is not developed by Navigraph; it gets the maps and charts from the Navigraph API but the drawing of the aircraft on top of said maps/charts comes from AviTab itself, Navigraph has no control over it.
