I recently purchased a subscription. I create my flight plans in navigraph. I love flying the PMDG 737-800. I can import simbrief flight plan into my FMC no problem.
Once i start a free flight using the navigrapgh flight plan. Once I start the flight I can access the navigraph icon, open it, see the plan and then I can EXPORT then “load as active plan”.
However I cannot acces the plan in FMC. I only see old plans or one from simbrief.
I can load a simbrief flight plan via the EFB, no problem.
I want to use navigraph for flight planning and charts.
If i press CO ROUTE, all I see is old Simbrief flight plans.
PMDG 737-800: I tried a test, I started at a completely new airport, never been before, no route plan. Start new flight at YPAD. Open Navigraph icon while sitting on runway. Create a new flight plan, EXPORT, then LOAD AS ACTIVE PLAN. Enter YPAD in FMS ORIGIN. press routes, nothing, press CO ROUTE, nothing.
However, if I use ASOBO 737, press EXPORT, then LOAD AS ACTIVE PLAN. I have the plan IN the FMC, press activate and we are go, done.
I prefer the PMDG 737-800, my FMC PAP PFC all work perfectly every time. I prefer Navigraph flight planner a I have ARR and DEP option inplace.
I feel like it is a file location issue, but I am going around in circles.
FS24, WIN11, WINWING FMC using SIMAPPRO, problem only with PMDG 737-800
thanks, the first solution worked perfectly. Export flightplan.rte into flight plans. Also allows me to clear out old plans. Not sure why, but when I export the file, I need to add the (.rte) extension to the file name prior to save. Weird. I also found if I want the correct directions from ground and the tower, I should put the DEP RWY into the FS2024 Flight plan prior to start flight.
Do these step and I had a very enjoyable taxi and flight.
