Don’t if this is a topic under this category or is there better? But….
Runway recommendation in Oslo / Gardermoen during 01 config in use is upsidedown… by default (and currently in real life too) they use 01L departures and 01R arrivals… while Navigraph Charts shows the opposite:
The DEP, ARR and NOT USED labels come exclusively from online ATC, thus there must have been a VATSIM or IVAO ATIS with this runway setup at the time you experienced the issue.
I was flying in IVAO network and there was no online ATC in whole Norway during my flight. But does it take DEP/ARR from any network where there is ATC online?
Could there be a feature where to filter completely out sources which don’t want use? Currently able to prioritize but I have had Real-option always chosen and while real life used 01L departures and 01R arrivals, it still showed active runway from (maybe) VATSIM, have no clue if there was a controller online during that flight.
Okay, that explains. But yeah, would be nice if could filter completely individual source… so that if no ATC online in one society, would not give DEP/ARR at all.
Of course I prefer real life config always, and it’s in priority selection in my Charts always. Just interested, how does it collect data for REAL-option? Does it require some sort of available to all ATIS in those flightplan airports or…? And what data that REAL-option actually provides to Charts if not runway config?
You can set a priority source in the Navigraph Charts settings, so that if both IVAO and VATSIM are online, the IVAO ATIS takes precedence; however, it’s not currently possible to completely opt-out of the feature – so if VATSIM has an ATIS for ENGM but not IVAO, the runway suggestions will be based on the VATSIM ATIS.
