Online traffic - vatsim & ivao

Good evening,

I celebrate the new functionality that enables to see IVAO/VATIMS traffic within Navigraph; my question is WHY both NETWORKS cannot be enable at the same time?

Most people fly online both networks.

Thanks

RA

At the same time?!? Unlikely…

Hello! Thank you for your feedback.

Are you flying on both networks at the same time? Remember that all aircraft are updated in real-time, not every 15 seconds or so like other trackers that have both networks visible at once. Having them all visible simultaneously will eventually have performance implications - especially at peak hours.

It is a technical possibility, but there are implications. We’d really appreciate it if you could elaborate on your feedback a bit - would this be practical or just cool, and if so, how?

Kind Regards,
Malte

sure I do, technically is possible…

would it be more than practical, usually in Argentina controllers are offline during weekdays and when they become online, usually they do from different networks (vatsim/ivao). Flying conndcted to both netwoks at the same time allows to ensure that I can get ATC service from any network.

Thanks¡

And what do you do when you have conflicting ATC in both networks? Ignore one of them? Or you are under ATC control on one network, and need to deconflict with uncontrolled traffic on the other network? Ignore the latter?

Hi, thanks for sending question/comments. When I have both on-line network ATC online, I just choose one and disconnect from the other one, but UNTIL that happens, is useful to see both networks activity (ATC´s and Pilots.

Cheers!
