OFP ITT/IMT not match the leg's heading of Navigraph

Hi all, can someone explain me in which way SimBrief calculates the ITT/IMT in the OFP? I don’t know why these values are so different from the values of the legs that Navigraph shows on the chart.

Hi, SimBrief IMT and ITT values are the initial tracks towards the next waypoint, not the tracks from the previous waypoint.

Most real-world OFPs indicate tracks in this way, so SimBrief is simply replicating that.

Note how the tracks are indicated between PMD → DAG and DAG → MISEN in the following example:

Note also how there is an IMT/ITT value at the departure airport (KLAX), which makes sense when you realize that these are the tracks towards the next waypoint.

Thanks for the answer. This is exactly what I expected also for a VFR flight from KOQU to KBOS. In this case the informations between SimBrief and Navigraph don’t match. If you can try with this VFR plan I use for this flight: VC405 dct AVONN dct INNDY dct VC521 dct BOS. In your example the initial tracks in OFP match those in the legs of Navigraph, in my plan it isn’t.

This is the IMT in the OFP:

On VC405 I have an IMT of 041°. This is what I have on Navigraph:

In this case starting from VC405 I have 54°. Regards.

Yes I see, it’s an issue affecting only VFR reporting points (VC405, VC521, etc.)

Should be fixed now.
