Ofp fatal error

For the past few hours, I’ve been having a problem with sending my flight plan. I keep getting the message shown above.

You are hitting a rate limit because you are creating too many flight plans. May I ask why you are creating so many?

I have created a program where I enter the routes for the flights of my Virtual Airline separately, one by one, and I need to generate them first. How can this functionality be restored in SimBrief, please?

How can you please get SimBrief working again?

I honestly wasn’t aware that there was a limit on the number of flights I could generate. If possible, could you please enable SimBrief for me again? I would also like to know how many flight plans I am allowed to generate per day.

Unfortunately your account reached its OFP generation limit after roughly 180 flight plans. Thats far beyond any reasonable use case.

Generating OFP’s in bulk like that is absolutely not permitted, so I cannot manually reset the limit. It will clear on its own in a few hours which will allow normal flight planning again. We do not condone using automation to scrape data. Ultimately, if rate limits are hit often, it will trigger flags which can constitute an account ban.

Regarding a limit, we don’t publish a specific limit as this isn’t intended as an allowance. It exists to protect the service from automated and bulk usage. Any normal behavior won’t come anywhere near a rate limit. What matters is how SimBrief is being used, and generating OFP’s in bulk or through automation isn’t permitted at any volume.
