Odd little problem with ILS LOC and DS at OJMS in XP12

I’ve identified a slightly odd problem with the ILS LOC and GS for OJMS (Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan)in X-Plane 12.

Navigraph includes full ILS DME for all 4 runways at OJMS but when I tried them ONLY the DME for the ILS was being picked up.

I eventually worked out that that with XP12 OJMS does NOT exist as an airport and Muwaffaq Salti is known as OJ40 instead and while it appears the an ILS DME doesn’t have to be associated with an airport XP recognises, the LOC and GS do so can’t be picked up in the sim.

To confirm this I changed the code on the LOC and GS entries in eath_nav.dat from OJMS to OJ40 and the GS and LOC are now visible.

Obviously this isn’t a long term solution as the modification will be overridden the next time the Navigraph data is update (to avoid that I’d want to move the data to user_nav.dat) but I’m not sure what you folks can do about a disagreement on an airport code between your source data and X-Plane

We can’t do anything here. The navdata doesn’t contain airport/runway data - these data will be handled by LR.

I’m sorry; please report this to LR so they can change the airport ICAO code to the correct one.
