Not being able to import data into the mcdu

Hi, I’ve just bought myself a new pc after having problems with lag on my old Xbox. Since getting my pc the graphics and scenery have been amazing, however there’s one issue that after putting in my Simbrief id into the tablet and being able to request data and flight plans there , when i go into the MCDU and into the init page when i press init request it comes up saying “error downloading data” . My original thought was that i needed to important my simbrief id into the MCDU itself however after watching many videos they also said press the ATSU page and then you should see simbrief id. Which when i looked i couldn’t see. I’ve contacted Microsoft support many times without getting much assistance therefore i wanted to come on here and ask if anyone else has had this problem. Overall, the only issue this is creating is that i cant insert the Co RTE meaning my pre made flight plan cant be imported ruining the overall game play as i really want to fly long haul but feel it is unnecessary to spend so much time manually inserting ever point into the flight plan. Please can someone help because its been a week since i got this pc and all i want is to be able to do a flight without any issues. Thank you, and if anyone has any sort of relation to this issue please share because anything at this point could help.

Which simulator are you flying in, and which specific aircraft are you trying to import your Simbrief flight plan into?

Roger. I don’t use this particular aircraft myself, but there’s a YouTube video tutorial about Simbrief integration in them:

…this one covers where to find your pilot ID and where to insert it in the EFB.

…his one covers the MCDU side of things. Just be sure to use your actual Simbrief ID and not 123456 like in the video.

thanks for looking for me but I’ve know been playing on Microsoft flight sim for a while now and know how to set up simbrief the issue is probs due to settings at the moment. However, no one is yet to figure out which ones need updating.

Even if it never works, we would still need an example of a specific flight plan that fails to import (i.e. “error downloading data”) as a starting point for troubleshooting.

Can you provide an example route or perhaps a link to a PDF briefing that doesn’t work for you when importing?

kindly, i don’t see how that would change anything it has nothing to do with how i set up simbrief. I know because one ive be forced to watch SO many videos and the fact that i just have common sense. Ive been talking to innibuilds at the same time and we both agree the issue lies as a bug. Thanks for trying tho
