I am new to SimBrief, I created the flight plan and it was perfect but when Import it into the Fenix A320 it does not import the proper flight, for example it will add HOLD (BAH-DXB) in some cases (Sample No. 2).
I have uploaded two sample videos on YouTube if anyone can help.
So I took a look at example 2. You provide a 14-minute video without a time reference of where one might look for the issue— I’m just another user so I can do whatever I feel like with my time, but if Navigraph staff (developers or support staff) had to watch a 14-minute video for every issue one of their users reported, they wouldn’t have time to do anything else.
Then, it looks like your route in that example is KNLC REBRG KLAX (IRNMN2 is the STAR and that is not imported as part of the INIT REQUEST, but rather entered manually by the pilot, which you did). So the first part, importing the route from SimBrief, worked fine (it imported REBRG and that’s all the route as far as your flight is concerned).
Then, after you manually entered the final approach and STAR (Simbrief not at all involved at that point), there is a discontinuity you cannot remove; that’s how the Airbus works-- you cannot remove a discontinuity preceded by a MANUAL leg (that leg corresponds to ATC vectors, as depicted e.g. on the FAA chart for the STAR you selected):
(technically you can remove the discontinuity after removing the MANUAL leg first, but that might not be a good idea, say in your example above, you would then fly from GADDO to MERCE which would result in a rather very sharp turn at MERCE onto the final approach course)
Then a hold is added; that is also normal, it’s part of the missed approach procedure for the final approach you selected (ILS 24R):
SimBrief import (INIT REQUEST) happens at around 2:04. Then you do other tasks not directly related to the route, and finally go back to the F-PLN page around 5:25 and you don’t even check the route that was imported, instead directly proceeding to add departure and arrival procedures. Still not a Simbrief issue.
