I noticed today that there is no performance data available for the B767-400. This is one of the aircraft provided with the Flightfactor B767 Pro package. I find it curious that this aircraft was omitted. Can that be fixed? Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. I am not that familiar with all the details of the Navigraph system but this is what I was referring to… When I completed my flight plan I opened the Performance and Tools page to acquire some of the data presented there for this aircraft and flight (flaps, assumed temp, etc) and discovered that it was impossible to get this data because there was no listing for the B767-400. I went back to the Aircraft Type in the original flight planning page and sure enough… there is a selection for the b767-200 and 300 models but none for the b767-400. This explains why I could not acquire the flight data on the performance page. The question is why is this aircraft not listed? You suggest that it is. So just now I went back to my original flight planning page and sure enough… there is the b764 (767-400). And naturally when selected it produces a Performance page with all the pertinent data available. So this is clearly another example of the customer not knowing what he is doing. And all I can say is, in the immortal words of Rosanna Rosannadannah… It’s always something!
Not all aircraft types support takeoff and landing (TLR) calculations. At the moment we do not have suitable data to add this feature for the 767-400. The 767-400 is exceptionally rare, less than 40 were ever made, so as you can imagine data is very hard to find.
The System Status page lists which aircraft support TLR calculations. SimBrief supports 209 types in total, but only 126 of those support TLR calculations:
Ahh! Terrific. Thank you VERY much. I don’t fly this version very much but it’s incredibly thoughtful of you to add the takeoff/landing data to the listing.
