No Lessons in Custom Content - MSFS2024

  • Have installed / uninstalled Navigraph Hub and Simlink multiple times. I’m running the latest version.
  • I appear to have successfully installed the Avionics Plugin for G1000 and Navigraph Academy Lessons - The button changes from INSTALL to REMOVE once installed.
  • I do see the Navigraph Mission Folder and Course files showing up in the both the Community and Community2024 folder. Path is navigraph-academy2024\Missions\Navigraph\Academy\course folders. I see this from MSFS204 by going to Market Place, Settings, Folder Icon
  • If I scroll down in Marketplace/My Library I do find the Community Content Folder. If I open that pull down I do see the Navigraph Academy Lessons 1.02 Navigraph. The label says “Disabled”.
  • If I attempt to “Enable” them, the status still comes back saying “Disabled”
  • When I navigate in MSFS2024 to Activities - Custom Content there are no Navigraph lessons showing.

Think I’ve tried everything various online resources have suggested but no luck. Please help.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

First of all, make sure that you are using the newest version of Navigraph Hub. Just to be absolutely sure, I would recommend uninstalling all the addons that are enabled through Hub, make sure that none show up in the community folder, then uninstall.

Download the newest version of Navigraph Hub via https://navigraph.com/downloads and install your addons, including Academy.

Its quite odd that Academy is automatically disabled after you enable it. Has any other addon acted in a similar way before?

Also, another thing to try would be to check if the issue involves the file required to track packages. Something may have corrupted this file.

  1. Make sure MSFS is closed and uninstall plugins from the Navigraph Hub.

  2. Go to your MSFS 2024 install directory (%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_...\LocalCache).

  3. Find the file named Content.xml.

  4. Delete this file.

  5. Reinstall the plugins, including Academy from Navigraph Hub.

Once you have completed this, start MSFS2024 and check that Academy remains enabled in your library.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for your note.

Navigraph Hub installed is 1.2.24. All Packages have been “REMOVED.”. Buttons now showing INSTALL.

The “Content” file in has been deleted.

After reinstalling the G1000 and Navigraph Academy lessons the Marketplace view shows the Navigraph objects but all say “DIABLED”. When I look in Activities / Custom Content no Navigraph items are showing.

I’m a MacUser so my Windows skills are not as stellar.

I’m not finding the exact path in File Explorer that you list (assuming I’m using File Explorer correctly).

What I am seeing in a File Explorer search has these paths …

Users > myusername > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft
Roaming > also Navigraph and navigraph-hub folders under Roaming

Users > myusername > AppData > Local > Microsoft > WindowsApps > Microsoft.Limitless_xxxxxxxxx > FlightSimulator2024 app

Local > navigraph-hub-updater > installer
Local > Packages > Microsoft.Limitless_xxxxxxxxx > LocalCache > Packages > Community

Community2024

The Community folder does not have the Navigraph files when I have uninstall all with Hub. When I install, then Community floder shows the Navigraph path to the lessons.

However, Community2024 folder does still have navigraph-academy 2024 > Missions > Navigraph > Academy > courselessons even though after I uninstall via hub.

Hopefully the above helps figure out what the issue is…

Hello,

To locate the MSFS 2024 Package folder, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press the Win + R keyboard keys simultaneously. This will open a small window.

  2. In the text box, paste %localappdata%\Packages and press Enter. This will open the folder.

  3. Look for a folder that starts with Microsoft.Limitless_..., open it, and then navigate to the LocalCache folder.

  4. Delete the file named Content.xml and then reinstall the plugins using the Navigraph Hub.

  5. Launch MSFS and check again.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing any issues.

Thank you!

Hi Vishalahir,

I’ve navigated to the LocalCache folder per your instructions.

Content.xml does not exist in this folder. I deleted it yesterday.

I do see files such as SimConnect.xml and FlightSimulator2024.CFG.

Reinstalling plug-ins and launching MSFS2024 — still not seeing any lessons in Activity > Custom Content.

Ron

Ignore my last email….

I am now seeing the Navigraph lessons in Activites > Custom Content

Thank You!
Ron
