No folder "order" like in 2501

Just to make sure-

I updated today to Cycle 2502 rev.1 Beta, and noticed that the folders installed didn’t have the exclamations or brackets like in 2501 rev2…

!!!navigraph-nav-base
}}}navigraph-nav-jepp

They are just the normal base and jepp folders now. Is that correct? Did MSFS fix that bug?

Hello!

This is expected. While we still have some changes to make (coming in a revision soon), we no longer need these odd-looking filenames! We’re also hopeful that we can reduce the installed packages to just one in the future.

For now though - what you are seeing is correct!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Note that if you ate using 3rd party airports you will probably bump again in the old issue of missing waypoints for sid and stars. I tried changing the folders names in the community folder but no luck this time. For now I eeill stick with 2501 otherwise I cannot use any 3rd party airports

Old reply

Hmm, that should definitely not be the case with this new dataset. Please open a new topic - this AIRAC is in beta so we appreciate all feedback. Let’s not discuss it in this topic though to keep things organized.

The latest update includes a package_order_hint - which is what Asobo has officially said is the only thing that we should have to worry about, the sim should do the rest. If that does not appear to be the case, we’d like to know!

I’ll close this topic. As mentioned, please open a new one if you keep having issues with 3rd party airports using the latest update.

EDIT: I see you already got a response from my colleague on this issue - so there is no “news” here it seems. Here is the topic, for any future reader:

Kind Regards,
Malte
