Hello Andrew! Welcome back!
I am not exactly sure where this question comes from, we have not advertised any new up-and-coming versions for the panel. The panel only receives compatibility updates and features that directly relate to the connection between the simulator and the panel, the user interface inside the panel itself is updated over the air and thus does not warrant new panel releases.
Perhaps you mean “the next version of charts” that has been mentioned numerous times by me and other members of the team? If so, then we’re not talking about an update to the current Charts product (or the panel), but rather a completely new iteration of the product.
Please do let me know if I have misunderstood your question, or if you have any more questions.
Kind Regards,
Malte
Over at FlightSimulator.me they mention Ingamepanel Navigraph for Flight Simulator v1.2 which is Sim Update 7 compatible . I am having problems with the current version locking up my controllers (Know problem over at the MSFS Forum) I am hoping v1.2 fixes this.
Hi Andrew,
The latest version of Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel is V1.1. There is no V1.2.
Please advise in detail what issues you are having with Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel V1.1, so we can try to replicate them.
Cheers
Ian
Input from peripherals not recognized while mouse cursor is over in-flight toolbar/menu. This includes when you are using the In-Game-Panel… Most noticeable when you are navigating around an airport with the In Game Panel open… The rudder pedals stop working until you close the window.
Regards,
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
There are two different products:
The Ingamepanel Navigraph for Flight Simulator v1.2 which wraps our Charts Web App. Support for this is provided by flightsimulator.me so any issues should be taken up with them.
Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel for MSFS, installed using Navigraph Navdata Center. I have not experienced the issues you mention in this product but am happy to pursue if you have them in this product.
Cheers
Ian
I also had this issue yesterday. When using the in game panel, when I was using my mouse on it my rudder and throttle controls were not functioning untill i clicked away from it.
I am using the version via the Navigraph Navdata Center
Thanks
Andrew
That’s is exactly the problem I am having
Hi Team,
I haven’t been able to replicate this with joystick rudder or pedals. Can you please try to provide a video showing the behaviour.
Cheers
Ian
Ian, just checking that you are testing in VR ?
Regards
Andrew
Not sure if would make and difference but I am using a HP G 2 … No idea how I would do a video to explain the problem in VR
Andrew
Hello @evilspatula and @macbrowndog ! Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the panel.
Before looking into this, can any (or both) of you confirm whether or not you have an input field highlighted at any point before this issue? These test cases could be a good way of pinning down the issue:
First, start the simulator normally and put on the goggles. Then:
Please get back to me with the result of each of these steps and I’ll see what Navigraph can do about it!
Kind Regards,
Malte
The problem only occurs when the mouse is anywhere in the panel… All controls lock. When you move the mouse outside the panel all inputs are fine… I think this an Asobo problem as the same issue occurs with the other panels
Yes, you are probably right about it being an Asobo issue. The steps you took seem to confirm that all functionality we have that would lock your controls is, in fact, working. This is kind of expected since we have indeed fixed this particular issue in the panel several months ago!
Sorry to hear about the trouble, but unfortunately it seems like there’s nothing we can do about it
I hope they fix it!
Kind Regards,
Malte
